Grandma’s Chicken Soup #9: Recruitment News Served Hot!
by Scott Ryan on March 21, 2011
The 11th Annual ERE Expo is upon us this week and the HireClix team is excited about the opportunity to speak with innovative organizations and vendors on the exhibit hall floor. Please be sure to visit the HireClix booth #209.
We are experiencing an interesting period in recruiting and recruitment advertising. That is what makes this ERE Expo that much more exciting. The way job-seekers are looking for a job is shifting dramatically. They are using Google, social networking sites, and job search engines to seek out employers of choice. Many of those employers of choice will be attending the ERE Expo. This is a good thing. HR professionals and recruiters MUST adapt. We are three months into 2011. Can we afford to do the same thing we did one or two years ago? I don’t think so…
Every day we are all inundated with articles about new job boards, recruitment widgets, trends in the industry, and what is going to be the Next Big Thing in recruiting. Below are my picks for the most interesting articles of the week that pertain to the human capital industry.
